The General Meeting of shareholders of Resitape (or the “Company”) today approved the Company’s economic and financial data for the year ended at December 31, 2023. Resitape closed the year 2023 with a slight revenues decrease of around -5% compared to 2022, when the Company achieved the best results in terms of turnover since the Company foundation in 1962. The year 2023 was affected in January by around one month of production slow down due to the extraordinary event of the relocation into the new bigger plant. The 2023 satisfactory performance reflects the good results of the key Company business lines, also in the current tough macroeconomic market, further demonstrating Resitape’s resilience in the ongoing geopolitical context. In February 2023 Resitape successfully completed the relocation into the new plant in Gessate-Milan (around 8,000 sqm). The finalization of full relocation took around one month, allowing the company not to lose any material time slots for production. The decision to relocate was driven by the necessity of wider production spaces and increasing industrial capacity to support the ongoing Company’s growth.
