Dear Client, Supplier and Stakeholder,
Following the last document published by the President of the Council of Ministers (DPCM March 22nd, 2020), some production activities in Italy will be suspended between March 26th, 2020 and April 3rd, 2020 to contrast and contain COVID-19 outbreak.
Appendix 1 of the DPCM March 22nd, 2020 makes the list of the production activities allowed to continue within the above mentioned period, among which there are the activities classified with the ATECO code 20 (chemical products production).
Resitape holds the ATECO code 20.16 (Source: Chamber of Commerce Company Registration). Therefore, Resitape is entitled to continue its production activities.
On March 24th, 2020, Resitape Board of Directors, also after having received a positive feedback from almost all its employees, has decided to continue with its production activities during the above mentioned period. The Company has also put in place a lot of safety actions (i.e. area sanitization, distribution of face masks and gloves, production work shift segregation, incentive to smart working where possible, etc).
Moreover, on March 24th, 2020, Resitape received a formal statement by an Italian client of its, with the declaration, previously transmitted to the Italian Authorities, that the Company is considered a strategical supplier, belonging to the so called “essential supply chain”, since Resitape supplies this client, that is involved in the production of medical devices to provide medical oxygen to patients with ventilation and/or breathing problems, definitively essential during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Resitape has also informed the entitled Italian Authorities on its decision to proceed with its production activities.
