Resitape is always focused on product innovation.
Cordflon™ is the next generation PTF thread sealant. The product is designed for use in all the standard non-critical thread sealing applications, an ideal replacement for all low-density tapes with thickness from 0,075mm to 0,100mm.
Cordflon™ is a 100% PTFE monofilament and performs better than low-density tapes in non-critical applications, due to its unique mechanical characteristics. Being a monofilament, the product has inherently significantly better mechanical characteristics than PTFE tapes.
The customized Cordflon™ packaging protects the product from dust and dirt and delivers higher productivity than tapes. The product will be initially supplied in length of 75m only.
Cordflon™ is a different product than our patented Twineflon®, but is derived from the same concept. Cordflon™ is not certified to any particular standards outside of BS7786:2006 grade H and the U.K. Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) for potable and hot water. For critical applications, we recommend our high performance Twineflon® PTFE monofilament, which has been tested and approved by many international testing institutes to various test protocols.
