Dear Partner,
The actual macroeconomical and geopolitical environment is characterized by an incessant and dramatic sourcing global costs trend increase, that never happened before.
This situation also affects Resitape not only in the constant PTFE raw material cost increase, but also in all the other materials involved in our industrial process (e.g. pigments, plastics, solvents, etc.), in the transport costs and in the electricity and gas.
For example, the current electricity acquiring cost (PUN index €/MWh) is equal to 391 €/MWh compared to 125 €/MWh (average year 2021) and 38 €/MWh (average year 2020).

Our willingness is always to support our clients. In January and February, further dramatic prices increases impacted us, while hoping in a normalization as soon as possible. This has not happened and the ongoing trend is evident to everyone.
In this context and until the situation will be characterized by such an extraordinariness, against our will, the current reference price list will be subject to adjustments whose entity will be discussed with you at the moment of the new orders quotation. The orders already received before the date of this statement will not be affected.
Obviously, our target is always to competitively position you in the best way within your reference market. So you will never lost our support through a propositive interaction.
Nevertheless, in such a dramatic context, the good news is that Resitape will be always able to satisfy your volumes and services requests. This also thanks to the significant investments, both in machinery and spaces, the Company has been rolling out to increase its production capacity in order to satisfy more and more its partners also looking at the next future.
Our commercial team is at you complete disposal for any information or clarification.
Best regards,
