Today, Resitape’s Shareholders’ Meeting approved the economic and financial data for the year ending December 31, 2024. During 2024, Resitape recorded a slight decrease in Value of Production, amounting to -4% compared to 2023. Revenue performance was particularly affected by the economic slowdown in some sectors, such as Automotive and Home Appliances, however, offset by sectors with positive performance, such as Aerospace. With regard to the results of individual business lines, the Company particularly achieved positive results in those defined as “speciality,” such as those of PTFE tapes for the coating of specialty electrical cables. Despite the current difficult macroeconomic environment, the satisfactory result achieved in 2024 reflects the positive results achieved in particular by the Company’s business lines with high added value and more distinguished by distinctive know-how, demonstrating the Company’s focus increasingly on “speciality” rather than “commodity” products. Moreover, the results achieved represent further confirmation of Resitape’s resilience to the exogenous macroeconomic dynamics present in the current challenging global geopolitical scenario.
