Resitape Srl is a privately owned company manufacturing sintered and unsintered Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tapes to recognized world-class standards. We began life in 1962 in Segrate, a suburb of Milano, Italy.
The company’s origins were essentially as a highly skilled engineering workshop that designed and constructed process equipment to make tapes from what was then still a relatively new product to the world market, Polytetrafluoroethylene. Back then the company was known as Resiflon Srl, and the now very famous Resiflon brand of PTFE Thread Sealant Tape is still manufactured today by Resitape Srl.
Building on the success of the first generation, the second generation took over the company in 1993 and changed the name to Resitape Srl so as to emphasize our absolute commitment to ptfe tape. At that time we also moved the manufacturing activity to a new customized premises in Liscate, a suburb of Milano located close to Linate airport.
The engineering skills, which created our first manufacturing processes, are still a core competency of the company today and we take great pride in designing and constructing almost all of the essential hardware used in the tape manufacturing process.
While the company has always been synonymous with high quality products based on the best raw materials, such as Teflon® from DuPont, it is the almost 40 years of perfected engineering ability that still today sets our products apart and positions us as one of the leading suppliers worldwide of ptfe tapes.
